Wait! Don't Leave Without Looking
at This Special Bonus Offer!

MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO WALK AWAY FROM PRODUCT!

If this is your first ebook, or even your ninth or tenth, you are probably looking at an undecided website visitor who needs one more push to convince him/her that this is an opportunity (notice I didn't say "offer") that is timely and is just too good to resist. In fact, it is said that people need 5-12 sales pitches before they will actually buy.

One of the best ways to do that is to offer related bonus products for free. A key word here is "related." Offering bonuses related to air conditioning maintenance with this Iridology book is not exactly related, and would just leave people disappointed and scratching their heads in amazement and/or amusement at your dumbness.

You may have noticed that in the Sales Page for the Iridology book I stressed its importance to Baby Boomers - to that growing segment of the population that is facing increased medical and prescription costs. Now, Iridology is not their only interest. They have several more - such as how to preserve their nest egg for themselves instead of shelling it out to drug companies, insurance companies, doctors, surgeons, hospitals and nursing homes.

Baby Boomers are facing things like Alzheimer's Disease, Dementia, Medicare choices, home-based health care, nursing homes, etc., etc. While I am currently working on new books on these subjects, the sad truth is - there is currently very little already available on these topics. (I hope that rings a bell or lights up a little "idea light bulb" on a potential market for you, as it does for me!)

So I have come up with some related bonuses (they do deal with health issues). They cost me nothing and are freely available on the Internet already - if you know where to look. I didn't write them, don't claim to. I do not have any giveaway rights to them at all. In fact, I've never even spoken with the author.

So am I ripping him off? No, he gives them away on his own website. Second, I am providing links directly to his website rather than mine. This keeps me legal and ethical. I believe he deserves credit for his work and I don't mind at all sending visitors his way.

You can also find hundreds of free ebooks to which you can obtain Giveaway Rights, Resell Rights, Master Resell Rights or even Private Label Rights (that means you can, if you so wish, put your own name on them, rewrite them, edit them, do whatever you wish and call it your own).

HINT: You will find a lot of these right here on the Phoenix Archives ... and membership is free! (This link opens in a new window).

THE BEST WAY TO OFFER THESE BONUSES

One excellent way is to create an Exit Page. If someone decides not to buy your book from the original sales page, when they leave - this Exit Page is what they will see.

It's somewhat similar to Pop-Up Window (and can actually BE a Pop-Up Window) but I like to make it less obnoxious. It involves the use of some programming code called "on exit" - meaning that when someone leaves (exits) a page, a particular action takes place.

I'm sure you've seen those web pages where there is, say, a red button - maybe a link to another page. When you move your mouse over it, it may turn blue. This is similar and is called a "mouse-over" command. When you move a mouse over something, something specific happens. When you click the mouse ("mouse-on") something else happens. When you move the mouse away ("mouse-off") it goes back to red.

No thanks! Got anything else?

This is done with a fairly simple tool called a Java Script and you can get it for free at Dynamic Drive.com - then make just a few changes (the link and the text copy) and use it as your own. It's very eye-catching because as the new window opens up, it doesn't just pop up - it starts opening at the top left and then grows to fill the screen.

But what if they just leave the page and don't both to click the button or text link?

Well, there's a more subtle method.
