HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR PRODUCT

How to Make Sure Your Customers
Gets Their Products
With Minimum Work on Your Part

The most difficult, hard-to-learn aspect I've run into in creating ebook has to do with the marketing and delivery - not the actual creation. When someone clicks the BUY NOW button, they are taken to the "payment gateway" (such as PayPal) where they actually make their payment and, if you've done it right, see a printable receipt. They then expect to get their purchase immediately, without waiting.

Where they are taken next is called the Thank-You page or Download Page. This is where you have to take special steps to make sure the customer gets their product, but is not able to share that link for free with their friends and co-workers, ripping you off. As you may have guessed from the music industry's MP3 controversy, it ain't easy!

I purchased various scripts (that wouldn't work) and even bought expensive shopping carts (it would take a Ph.D. in Geek Science to make those work) and, in short, wasted a lot of time and money - with no results!

It isn't too hard to set up a PayPal PayNow button for a downloadable product - but that is not user-friendly. It actually discourages visitors to your site from purchasing more than one product. Oh, yes, you can set up a PayPal shopping cart - but it only gives them the first product in their cart - not the whole purchase.

My own websites are built on a membership system - become a member and you get access to the whole library. There are two levels of membership - free and paid. If you pay (and it's extremely economical compared to the others out there I've seen!) you get access to more freebies, bigger files - membership is how I pay for bandwidth (more on that in a minute), and resale rights so they can actually sell what they buy and keep 100% of the profits for themselves.

What I am about to share with you today will save you hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars and pay for your purchase of this ebook hundreds of times over!

First, let me explain something that will cost you an arm and a leg if you don't prepare for it in advance - bandwidth.

WHAT IS "BANDWIDTH"?

Think of your website as one stop along a network of roads. When you sign up for hosting you get X Mb of storage space and X Mb of bandwidth. Think of bandwidth as the amount of traffic on the road to and from your website.

If you have 10 Mb of bandwidth per month, you can be reached only by a rough, narrow little dirt road. If you have 10 Gb of bandwidth per month, you have a four-lane highway running right up to your door. That means you can handle a lot of visitors and a lot of uploads and downloads. Uploads are when you send stuff to your website, downloads are when you or others receive stuff from your website.

How would you like to have 25Gb of free storage space and 1Gb a month of free bandwidth? Notice I did say FREE!

I want you to definitely check this out. It's called MediaMax. I discovered through an ebook package I purchased myself. Until then I'd never heard of it. I checked it out and immediately signed up.

MediaMax, powered by Streamload, gives you a private and secure place to upload, store, access, and share your personal videos, photos, movies, music, and files.

It has been widely cover in the consumer and computers news media and you can read more at their website.

NOTE: You STILL have to take steps to protect your download link from hackers and thieves. MediaMax does not do this for you.
